ABOUT HEROIN: CAPE COD, USA

As a co-producer and co-director of photography, I supported director Steven Okazaki in both the development and production stages of this feature documentary.

I am a Massachusetts native and my family has suffered loss from heroin addiction, so this project was close to my heart, and also very difficult. Two of the women we filmed for this documentary died from overdoes before the film was completed, which was devasting.

It was nominated for a Cinema Eye Honor for Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Filmmaking for Television in 2017.
